Description
The Care Pro Onboarding Manager is responsible for ensuring a superior onboarding process for all new Care Pros, via the team's thorough and timely completion of onboarding tasks, in order to support ambitious monthly hiring targets. This person responsibly manages Honor’s resources by leading a team of Onboarding Associates who must provide an exceptional onboarding experience with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Team management
- Develop, manage and lead a team of Onboarding Associates
- Provide clarity and direction to team on targets and goals by market and region
- Set expectations on individual and team performance and hold team accountable through regular coaching and feedback
- Ensure a high degree of accuracy and proper handling of sensitive information via quality assurance and process creation/adherence
- Lead team through change and ambiguity as targets and needs evolve with a focus on problem solving and support
- Cross-functional partnership
- Work in close partnership with Recruiting management to ensure optimization of process and hand offs throughout the end-to-end candidate journey
- Work closely with HR to ensure consistent adherence to state regulations and workflows allowing us to be audit-ready at any given time
- Work cross-functionally with other departments (Product, Central Ops, Marketing, etc) to optimize systems and processes
- Work with our Legal and HR teams to ensure clarity is gleaned and properly documented for Onboarding topics and requirements, both for new and current states
- Funnel management
- Own the success of the compliance-to-hire portion of the hiring journey for new Care Pro candidates, removing roadblocks to increase quality hires
- Focus on tactical outcomes (follow through, tech support, day-to-day process) to drive onboarding performance
- Maintain understanding of pre and post-hire compliance requirements for Honor’s markets and help ensure team resources are kept up to date
- Demonstrates deep understanding of critical onboarding protocol and risks, such as I9 verification
About you:
To succeed in the role, you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years experience in people management and team building preferred
- 2+ years in an HR role strongly preferred
- 4+ years experience in operations (preferably recruiting, customer success, sales and/or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to train and develop employees
- Ability to strategically plan, execute and pivot quickly as needed
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, with the ability to influence and adapt to different stakeholders
- High attention to detail and basic comprehension of HIPAA compliance
- A willingness to support team in their tactical work when needed, believing no job is too small
