About You:

  • You don’t just follow trends, but know when to break from the mold and develop your own style and ideas.
  • Desire to discuss differing opinions and input as you go through your process
  • Eager to collaborate with product teams and ensure a cohesive design language
  • A desire to understand and tell the world the story of Materialize and our product. 
  • Comfortable designing for a wide variety of mediums (websites, print, digital) from initial concept to post-launch refinement
  • Comfortable working with and managing external partners as necessary
  • Strong perspective on the Materialize brand and eagerness to develop it

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of related marketing experience
  • An eye for visual design and a strong  portfolio showcasing an excellent understanding of color, typography and layout  
  • Experience with Adobe design suite, Asana, and Figma preferred
  • Proven experience designing for a B2B audience
  • Ability to act as a creative partner to sales, marketing, and technical teams
  • Ability to communicate the rationale behind design decisions, accept input, evaluate feedback, and refine into a final product
  • Distill complex data and technical concepts into compelling visuals
  • Experience with databases, SQL, streaming, or cloud ecosystem partners a plus, as you will be distilling complex database and engineering concepts into compelling visuals
