The Opportunity:
Our marketing communications team is looking for an enthusiastic, culturally attuned college student or recent graduate to help support our growing team. We’re looking for a well-rounded individual who is interested in learning about all facets of marketing: social media, PR, influencer, and digital. You will gain an understanding of what it’s like to work at a fast-growing tech company while collaborating with a variety of team members from savvy social strategists to marketing managers, designers to PR practitioners.
We’re looking for candidates planning to graduate, or who have recently graduated, with a Bachelor’s degree or experience in Communications, Journalism or Marketing who are well-organized, able to multi-task and have knowledge/experience in digital marketing (web, social media, email), PR/comms (influencer and media relations) and content marketing, as well as a passion for live events, entertainment, and sports.
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- Contribute to team brainstorms, ideating content ideas across channels: PR, social, influencer, CRM, etc.
- Help coordinate marketing & campaign launch plans, assets, and project timelines
- Support influencer research, identification, mailings and post tracking
- Research industry trends, competitors and consumer preferences to help the marketing team make informed decisions
- Maintain and organize creative assets for marketing use
- Create and keep track of promo and gift card codes
- Submit and track progress of design requests, collaborating with internal digital design team
- Sweepstakes winner fulfillment and execution
- Assist agency partners in accessing internal processes and systems
- Provide support for marketing events, including promotional preparation, event set up, and attendee engagement.
- Assist in the creation and formatting of presentations, press releases and other brand-related materials
- Contribute to the creation of blog articles with thoughtful, industry relevant content.
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong passion for marketing, social media, pop culture, entertainment and sports
- Previous internship and Academic leadership experience
- Ability to build strong cross functional relationships and collaborate with all teams
- Eagerness to learn about a variety of roles and dive in head first
- Flexibility to adapt to ever-changing team needs and projects
- Organization skills - ability to gather, categorize and prioritize information efficiently and effectively
Internship Details:
20-40 hours a week (based on intern's availability/school schedule, etc), paid Internship ($18/hr), 16 week internship (January 2024-April 2024) with potential for extension. Flexible/hybrid work schedule. Join us in our downtown Chicago office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. Additional days in the office may be required, depending on project needs.
Our office is conveniently located in the Loop near Millennium Station, while also being in close proximity to all seven CTA lines.
