The CDC Foundation seeks a full-time Evaluation Manager to evaluate the Hear Her maternal health communications campaign. Launched in 2020, Hear Her seeks to prevent pregnancy-related deaths by increasing awareness of urgent maternal warning signs amongst pregnant and postpartum people and by improving communication between patients and their healthcare providers.

The Evaluation Manager will work closely with Hear Her colleagues and an external research firm to develop and implement evaluation activities to measure and understand the reach and impact of the campaign. Ideal candidates will have experience evaluating communication campaigns and be skilled with collecting, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. This position will help the team investigate and answer questions such as:

· Has the Hear Her campaign increased awareness of urgent maternal warning signs?

· How much has the campaign increased the likelihood that pregnant and postpartum people seek care immediately if they experience an urgent maternal warning sign?

· How well has the campaign reached populations experiencing disparities in pregnancy-related deaths?

This is an outstanding opportunity to work with the nation’s lead agency charged with protecting the public's health. This field employee position will work closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) within the Division of Reproductive Health (DRH) in the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP).

Atlanta-based candidates are preferred, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates. Relocation expenses are not provided. The starting salary range is $90,000-$95,000 and will be based on experience and qualifications. The CDC Foundation offers an attractive benefits package.
