Description
As a Quest Designer at Free Range Games, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the creation of memorable quests that blend narrative, gameplay, and combat elements. Proficiency in visual scripting and familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 will be valuable assets as you work closely with narrative and level designers to craft impactful player experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in agile development meetings, contributing to both daily and weekly discussions.
- Collaborate with design, narrative, and research teams to brainstorm and ideate quest ideas.
- Implement quest-specific mechanics using Unreal Blueprints to prototype concepts and visions.
- Showcase a passion for storytelling and creating engaging narratives within a game context.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic team environment, taking on challenges and proposing creative solutions.
- Contribute to crafting quests that resonate with diverse player audiences.
- Collaborate with the team to infuse quests with surprise, intrigue, and engagement.
- Dive into the game's lore and narrative to create memorable story-driven quests.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quest design.
- Experience contributing to at least one shipped game title.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4 and a willingness to learn and adapt to Unreal Engine 5.
- Basic understanding of Unreal Blueprints.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote setting.
