Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates operating health centers across the U.S. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seeks a Salesforce Administrator. This job reports to the CRM Associate Director in the Development Systems team of PPFA. The Development Systems team supports the fundraising databases, system integration, reporting and analysis, and general data needs of the National Development division and those of the affiliates participating in the Collaborative Fundraising Program (CFP).
Purpose:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the configuration on PPFA’s Salesforce CRM platform used by 200+ users as our donor database as it is migrated from NGO Connect to the Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP). The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with members of the Development Systems team and vendors to configure and customize Salesforce NPSP to meet the needs of each fundraising team and the National Office and CFP affiliates.
The Salesforce Admin assists in continuously improving and enhancing our Salesforce platform by gathering requirements and feedback from users and stakeholders and helping design best practice solutions.
Engagement:
●Work closely with the PPFA Salesforce CRM team to support 200+ National and CFP affiliate fundraising professionals.
●Work closely with the Donor Database Support team to troubleshoot and resolve problems and support data hygiene initiatives.
●Collaborate with Donor Database Support and Training staff to develop training and documentation of functionality and data model.
●Participate in the Salesforce community and events to stay informed about and influence the platform roadmap.
Delivery:
●Address Salesforce Admin support tickets and support the Technical and User Support team in all aspects of user management, including troubleshooting and reviewing training documentation. Document case resolution information in the ticketing tracking system in Salesforce.
●Configure and customize solutions in the PPFA Salesforce environment, including custom objects and fields, workflows, sandboxes, roles, permission sets, and profiles. Support Salesforce configuration changes of page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, mobile administration, security and access management.
●Help facilitate the NPSP release cycle, including sandbox testing and refreshes.
●Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce and PPFA NPSP releases
●Help in data management to improve Salesforce data quality, such as updating and/or implementing deduping rules and automation as needed
●Maintain knowledge of and follow Salesforce and PPFA best practices for configuration while keeping abreast of PPFA security and privacy policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
●3+ years of work experience
●1+ years of hands-on experience with strong Salesforce product knowledge
●Salesforce Administrator certification a plus
●Experience with nonprofit processes and/or Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) product a plus
●A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning.
●Comfortable liaising with users, gathering requirements, and enjoying learning new business processes in order to translate them into technical solutions.
●Embraces change, flexible, and can easily adapt to new requests and business use case challenges
●Team player who is willing to contribute, learn, adapt and grow as part of a dynamic team managing a complex Salesforce environment
●Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development

Travel: 0-10% domestic travel.
