We’re looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to improve reliability and stability of Webflow’s customer-facing, production infrastructure, serving millions of page views per hour. Our product is used by over 2 million users world-wide across 190 countries, and you’ll help ensure our platform is secure and scalable for these users as tens of thousands of projects are launched on Webflow each month.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this role ranges from $143,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $198,200 in our highest geographic market. These figures are in $USD and apply to candidates in the United States. The specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Join our Site Reliability team, which is responsible for ensuring the infrastructure behind the Webflow application, and our hosting services stay in a stable, healthy, performant state.
- Guide and empower engineers on other teams to introduce new features and functionality into the production environment in a safe and sustainable way.
- Continuously raise the bar on observability practices and usage of metrics, SLOs, and logging throughout our services.
- Occasionally dive into the main Webflow application in TypeScript, Python, or Go to better debug (and sometimes fix) behavior in production.
- Work with peers on Webflow’s Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales teams to enable customers using Webflow’s services in production.
- Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.

About you
You’ll thrive as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer if you …
- Have a background in Ops Engineering with an enthusiasm for code, or a background as in Software Engineering with an enthusiasm for Systems Administration.
- Have 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
- Are experienced in navigating and scaling multi-tier cloud environments on either AWS or GCP.
- Are experienced with container-centric architectures built with tools like Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, etc.), ECS, or Mesos.
- Are Experienced with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Are Experienced contributing to full-stack applications built using software like React, Node.js, and MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Are enthusiastic for mentoring and sponsoring less-experienced engineers.
It would be a bonus if you had even one of the following ...
- Experience with Kubernetes, Nginx, Terraform, or Pulumi specifically.
- Experience improving on-call and incident response processes for Engineering.
- Experience working in high-compliance environments or a special interest in security engineering. We are not the security team, but we are always looking to improve our security posture!
