We are looking for a seasoned, hard-working, smart, and overachieving Pre-Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling SaaS technology solutions to senior executives.

Reporting to the Head of Global Business Solutions EMEA & APAC, we are looking for a Global Business Solutions Architect (GBS Architect) with business and technical expertise to partner mainly with our French and German sales representatives to consult, strategise, plan, design and execute on enterprise and mid-market deals in complex sales cycles.  The ideal candidate is both business and technically savvy, possess excellent communication & presentation skills, relationship and client facing experience, creative solutioning, negotiation and sales or marketing expertise.

Day In The Life:

  • Consult and advise potential clients on business and technical strategy for implementing Degreed.
  • Detailed knowledge of product features, integrations, configuration options and functionalities of Degreed architecture to drive client requirement decisions.
  • Support the Sales team with business and technical knowledge and advice, handling technical questions and objections in client meetings. 
  • Support sales team with the development of use cases, statement of work and RFPs.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Technical Solutions, Engineering, Product, and Client Experience Management teams to ensure smooth product delivery and commit long-term customer success.

Who You Are:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer/Architect, minimum 5 years of experience,
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise and mid-market solutions,
  • French language capabilities at business level.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives & internal cross-functional teams,
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software technologies, industry standard practices for implementing file feeds, API, SSO authentications and integrations,
  • Technical implementation experience working with start-up, mid-market, and enterprise clients,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills to creatively convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner,
  • Thorough understanding of Human Capital Management enterprise software and background in L&D or Talent Management is a plus,
  • Solid understanding of the French and other EU markets
