SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce company, is looking for a Project Management Intern to work with us virtually this summer! This individual will join our Customer Experience (CX) team within our Marketing department and will assist in executing a wide variety of customer experience projects that have direct impacts on our digital experience. They will also assist with various workflows and processes to ensure efficiency and timely execution.

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

This position may require travel to our NY office headquarters up to two times during the program for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

Length of Program: Monday, June 3rd, through Friday, August 9th

Internship On-Site Meeting: Thursday, July 25th (required)

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST. However, there is some flexibility as per our Flex-Time Policy.

Salary: $20.00/hour

What is CX?

The Customer Experience (CX) team brings together product, design, research, and development to drive customer-preferred experiences on our website and app. The team propels innovation through customer research, best practices, and creative solutions to enhance our digital experience, strengthening our brand's relationship with our core customers. This fosters a sticky experience that promotes loyalty and brand recognition within our niche industry of Plumbing, Heating, and HVAC supplies. At our core, we use empathetic design techniques to champion the Trades, striving to create an experience that caters to their needs and wants both pre- and post-ordering.

The Day to Day:

  • Gain an overall understanding of the project process – from the research and discovery phase to the design process to requirement writing, and of course project management
  • Work alongside the distinct roles that make up our CX team – learn, ask questions, and experience their responsibilities
  • Help organize and orchestrate a stream of innovative ideas from around the business and directly from customers
  • Work with cross-functional teams to test new features before launch

Requirements:

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
