Description

Center is looking for a talented designer to help level up our web presence.

What we do

  • Center is building tools for crypto builders. We index and organize blockchain data, and make it available to developers via our API.

How we got here

  • We've spent the last few years building and now we are ready to share what we've built with the world.

  • We are beginning our go-to-market efforts and need someone who can help bring Center's UI/UX to the next level. Specifically, we want to make sure we are effectively highlighting everything that our product can do.

What you'll be doing

  • Our most pressing need is an overhaul of our web presence. We want to improve our marketing site to optimize for conversion and make sure we're putting our best foot forward for prospective customers. You'll be working closely with our CEO and Head of Product to get this done.

  • After this initial work, we're looking for someone we can keep on retainer to execute on high-priority design projects (likely web-related). This may include new pages, product demos or other interactive elements designed to support our go-to-market efforts.

  • We'll also likely want you to help us simplify and improve our design system.

Timeframe

  • We're looking for someone we can put on retainer for at least 2 months (where you'd be dedicated 100% to Center). This has the potential to turn into a full-time role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping web products.

  • A strong bias for action -- you take pride in turning around high-quality designs faster than 99% of your peers.

  • Deep understanding and intuition of user-centered design methods.

  • Expertise with Figma and ability to quickly learn new tools.

  • A great eye for detail, demonstrating creative and innovative problem-solving.

  • Focus on user experience, flows, and user research.

  • Notably: crypto experience is a nice-to-have, but not required.
