Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

The Digital Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in our team by leveraging historical marketing channel data and statistical methods such as regression and time series analysis to predict future trends and outcomes, crucial for our growth forecasting process. In this role, you will actively collect and assess data from a range of digital marketing channels, offering valuable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and support informed decision-making within the team. You will also conduct ad hoc analyses for different departments, and provide support and training to your team in using and interpreting digital analytics data.


This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.


Meet Your Future Team:

The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing our ecommerce channel and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. We are a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy & operations), Digital Growth Marketing, Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, and Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The team works closely with many other teams, including Retail, Brand and Marketing Operations.

If you were in the Digital Marketing Analyst role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Using historical marketing channel data and statistical techniques such as regression analysis and time series analysis to forecast future trends or outcomes, such as online traffic and sales
  • Collecting and analyzing data from various digital marketing channels to measure the effectiveness of different marketing channels and campaigns
  • Generating insights based on data analysis and presenting findings to internal stakeholders as well as supporting them with analysis interpretation about their campaigns to improve marketing performance
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis, as required, for cross-functional partners to support Ecommerce, Mobile App, Digital Marketing, Brand and Information Systems
  • Supporting training of team members and internal partners in their use of digital analytics to answer their business questions, working cross-functionally
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by conducting data quality checks and adhering to data privacy regulations


Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Developing and maintaining advanced predictive models to inform business decisions and growth strategy
  • Developing and implementing solutions to support attribution of marketing efforts on Mobile App performance
  • Providing actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies and budget allocations for maximum return on investment based on interpretation of results from Marketing Mix Model


Are you our next Digital Marketing Analyst?
  • You have 3+ years of experience as a Digital Analyst or similar role, preferably within the retail or ecommerce industry
  • You have a proven track record of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from digital advertising and digital analytics data sets
  • You have experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar platforms, specifically within the ecommerce context
  • You have used and are familiar with data visualizations solutions such as Power BI and Tableau
  • You are proficient in SQL for accessing and manipulating data stored in databases
  • You have experience in R, or Python for advanced data analysis
  • You have a data-driven mindset and are comfortable working with complex datasets
  • You have experience working with cross functional stakeholders
  • You are able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate technical insights into actionable recommendations
  • You are committed to ongoing learning and development and stay up to date with new technologies and best practices
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity and are always willing to try new approaches
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it

A reasonable estimate of thepay range is $69,000 - $86,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
