As a Business Intelligence Data Architect on the Data Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the data architecture that underpins our business intelligence initiatives. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that our data infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and aligns seamlessly with our business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy for business intelligence, ensuring it supports current and future business needs.
  • Design and implement data models, databases, and data warehouses to facilitate efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Integrate business intelligence tools with the data architecture to provide a cohesive and effective analytics environment.
  • Monitor and optimize database and query performance to ensure responsiveness and efficiency of BI applications.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling and indexing to enhance overall system performance.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.


What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with data quality tools, metadata management tools, and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience working cross functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Finance and Revenue Operations.
  • Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with ambiguity. Previous experience in a SaaS organization is an asset. 


Where You'll Work
  • Loopio is based in Canada with hub regions around the world. Right now, our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in Toronto, Vancouver, London, and India. We currently have two products: Loopio and Avnio. This role is focused on supporting our Loopio products and will be partnering closely with team members across UK, India, and North America.
  • Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. Our India hub employees live and work remotely around Gujarat, India) and work according to regular business hours in their timezone unless otherwise stated. 
  • You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) and have established core sync hours and focus time during the workday to enable us to work smarter together. Additionally, we encourage asynchronous collaboration to effectively work as a global #OneTeam!
