About the Role & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the intricacies of the SLED vertical.
- Ensure alignment of sales objectives with overall company goals.
- Client Acquisition:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients within the SLED sector.
- Lead the sales team in prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals to drive revenue growth.
- Vertical Expertise:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and challenges within the SLED vertical.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge to position BackpackHealthcare as a leading solution provider.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team success in meeting and exceeding targets.
- Collaboration and Relationship Management:
- Establish, grow, and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers.
- Present at local and state government events to enhance BackpackHealthcare's presence.
- Leadership Impact:
- Drive team performance through ongoing training, development, coaching, recognition, and rewards.
- Handle financial, budget, and sales reporting activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership, especially within the healthcare or SLED vertical.
- Strong understanding of the complexities and nuances associated with selling into State, Local, and Education, including the Department of Social Services organizations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership experience in motivating and driving results from a sales team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
