We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Growth Sales for Backpack Healthcare to play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across payors, health systems, and SLED organizations. The ideal candidate brings extensive expertise in cultivating and closing new business opportunities, coupled with adept management of the complete sales cycle.
In this influential position, you will collaborate closely with Backpack Healthcare's growth, marketing, and strategy teams to proficiently present, design, sell, and contract solutions that address the care delivery needs of our valued customers in the Payor and SLED sectors. We are on the lookout for candidates who are not only driven by the challenges we are addressing but are also inspired by the innovative approach and technology applied to healthcare, with a commitment to making a substantial impact on healthcare delivery. We seek individuals with outstanding curiosity and enthusiasm for solving complex problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and source new business opportunities to fortify Backpack Healthcare's growth pipeline in collaboration with sales and marketing leadership, specifically within the Payor and SLED verticals.
- Navigate successfully through intricate health system and Payor selling environments to consistently secure new enterprise and use case-specific partnerships in an efficient manner.
- Assume ownership of the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation to successfully closing deals, with a focus on the Payor and SLED sectors.
- Regularly update the CRM system, sales pipeline, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Qualifications (Required):
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare SaaS sales, specializing in selling to health systems and Payor organizations.
- A proven track record as a consistent top performer, showcasing success in developing, managing, and closing new sales opportunities involving both business and clinical champions.
- Demonstrated clear, concise, and credible communication skills, with the ability to motivate, support, and lead discussions with a diverse set of stakeholders, particularly within the Healthcare and SLED sectors. A proven ability to be personable yet persistent.
- Deep empathy for the needs of each customer stakeholder, employing a consultative, problem-solving-based approach to sales, and building high-trust relationships by understanding their needs, motivations, and challenges.
- Experience working with an early-stage startup and thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Enthusiasm for collaborative efforts with a top-tier Commercial team to elevate success.
