That’s where you come in.

In this role you will:

  • Be the designer and maintainer of our company’s SFDC instance including automating flows, troubleshooting issues, bulk importing and exporting data, and working with teams across the funnel to implement and enforce best practices. 
  • Identify core operational issues and propose new work streams, application solutions, and process improvements.
  • Modify and scale existing processes to support more users and new business requirements.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality.
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, notifications, approval processes, Lightning Process Builder, and Visual Workflow.
  • Collaborate with business teams to design, customize and configure improvements to the UI, reporting, and business processes.
  • Play a key role in ensuring Salesforce interoperates seamlessly with other business productivity systems such as Netsuite, DealHub, and Hubspot, among others.
  • Document, maintain, and update system-level customizations. 
  • Provide advanced reporting and searching assistance.
  • Manage data import, data cleansing, deduplication, optimization, and data maintenance efforts.
  • Configure Salesforce and related applications – such as Hubspot, DealHub, LinkedIn Sales Navigator – to ensure seamless data flow and integrations.
  • Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, and access settings (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security).
  • Establish and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
  • Build reports and dashboards to assist individual team members and management in measuring progress against goals, efficacy of new initiatives, and improving performance.
  • Keep abreast of new SFDC features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience using programming languages in SFDC including Apex and other languages such as: SOQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and SOUL.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience designing and customizing validation formulas, workflow rules, objects, custom object building and user/role assignments. 
  • Experience with third party platforms including: Hubspot, Netsuite, DealHub, Gong, and Slack.  
  • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce cloud paradigms, inherent risks, and appropriate deployment strategies.
  • Detailed knowledge of commonly-used Salesforce functionality and its administration.
  • Working knowledge of relational database architectures and query languages.
  • Basic knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of one or more project management paradigms, such as Agile.
  • Proactive and creative approach to finding solutions to stakeholder problems.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer preferred. 
  • Typically requires 3+ years of experience in a closely-related role. Education and certifications are valued and may contribute towards this criteria as applicable.
  • Ability to commute to the SF (preferred) or NYC office as part of a hybrid model, 1-3x weekly.
