About this role
As an Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering relevant financial advice to our core client base. You will draw on your creativity, resourcefulness and collaboration skills to drive forward projects that reach our client’s on a one-to-many basis. You will also be expected to lend your subject matter expertise to important team and company initiatives, and to the delivery of scalable digital advice.

- Play a major role in helping us change industry perceptions when it comes to investing. You will be on the front lines talking to prospective and current clients, getting them excited about our product and portfolios.
- Educate clients and prospective clients on how Wealthsimple's approach may better fit their needs. We do this by conducting calls, digital interactions, portfolio reviews, financial planning, “lunch and learns” on investing or other popular topics, and webinars.
- Help clients plan and make the right financial decisions.
- Communicate most of the time via phone or email with clients.
- Go the extra mile for the client, so we deliver an amazing client experience!
- Wants to make a difference. We are a small and mighty team effectively reshaping how people look at the industry. We need people who 'get it' and want to play an integral part in helping us accomplish this mission.
- Possesses a passion and energy for personal finance and investing. You understand the ins and outs of the wealth management industry, and more importantly, know how to explain these concepts simply.

- Has great analytical and prioritization skills. You know how to balance what needs to be done with what’s possible to do. You understand the scope of an issue and its priority.
- Embraces technology and the role it plays in financial services. Specifically, you have the flexibility to navigate multiple applications simultaneously to deliver unprecedented solutions.
- CFA or CIM designation.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Growth mindset.

- Self starter who can identify and lead their own projects.
