Description

Bustle Digital Group (“BDG”) is seeking an experienced fact-checker to work on culture, style, beauty, and lifestyle stories, as well as interviews, profiles, and Q&As, for NYLON’s print issues during print production and on Nylon.com outside of print. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours. 


This is a position covered under a collective bargaining agreement between BDG Media, Inc. and the Writers Guild of America East.

Key Accountabilities
  • Check a mix of profiles, trend stories, narrative features, and service journalism — from draft stage to final proofing stage
  • Join weekly Zoom production meeting(s)
  • Be available via email/Slack as needed


Candidate Profile
  • At least 2 years fact-checking experience
  • Experience editing/checking entertainment/celebrity profiles preferred
  • Comfort/familiarity with Adobe InCopy/K4 preferred
