About The Role:
Your Mission:
As a Product Designer at EnglishScore, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of English language assessment. Your role, at the intersection of Product Design and UX, will involve transforming complex challenges into user-centered, efficient solutions. This position requires a unique blend of creative problem-solving and a deep understanding of mobile user experiences. What You’ll Be Doing:
- You'll turn ambiguous problems into clear, user-focused, and scalable products, guiding projects from concept through to execution.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance aesthetics with functionality.
- From wire-framing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will be in charge of designing products that solve problems in a simple and elegant way while taking care of every small detail
- Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure that designs are technically feasible and scalable
- Documenting design solutions, enriching the existing service design;
- Ticketing the requirements for the technical team to implement;
- Operating in a remote environment, therefore, digital communication and collaboration skills are essential;
- Presenting work by speaking through your ideas and vision, so all partners can understand the path and know how to improve the designs/experience.
What You'll Need:
- Proven ability to manage entire design processes with autonomy and precision.
- The ability to take ownership of design process and work as self-directed member of the development team;
- Meaningful experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers & engineers
- Proven team player with an international mindset. Highly self-motivated and self-managed individual, not afraid to do the heavy lifting;
- Strong design skills across iOS, Android and web platforms with an UX focus
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a talent for articulating design visions and aligning team members.
- Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma, with a knack for rapid prototyping and iterative design.
- A passion for continuous learning and personal growth within a dynamic team environment.
- Thrive under minimal supervision in fast-paced environments, not being afraid to wear multiple hats when needed.
Nice to Have:
- The ability to understand technical implications in their design decisions;
- Experience working in EdTech;
- You are familiar with front-end technologies to bridge the gap between design and development.
- Experience in designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems;
- Experience designing for enterprise software or B2B products is a plus;
- Able to solve complex User Experience problems, smoothly and efficiently. Your focus revolves around ensuring the user job is done and creating best-in-class customer experiences.
