Project Description: Our client is a widely-known American company that is working on tools and advice for you to make it easy to pay off debt, choose the best of the best financial products and services (insurance, credit cards, etc.), and tackle your major life goals (saving for retirement, buying a house, etc.).

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Implement and manage WordPress multi-site configurations.
  • Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Integrate Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible content structures.
  • Optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
  • Utilize WP React for dynamic and interactive frontend experiences.
  • Develop custom Gutenberg blocks and extend the Gutenberg editor.
  • Perform theme, page, and SEO optimization to enhance site performance and search engine rankings.


Mandatory requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior WordPress Developer (+4 years).
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, including multisite, custom plugins, and themes development.
  • Strong understanding of PHP and MySQL.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SCSS.
  • Experience with WP React and custom Gutenberg block development.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and version control practices.
  • Expertise in theme, page, and SEO optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, and scalable code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Optional requirements:
  • Experience with GraphQL and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Familiarity with AWS for deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Experience in writing tests to ensure code quality.

  • PHP, MySQL, react, JS, JQuery, SCSS, docker, git actions, Figma, GraphQL, ACF Pro, 3rd party APIs.
