About the role 👩💻👨💻
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll have a key role in the Engineering team as a whole and work with our Real-Time API which is one of our most popular features with many exciting use-cases. What you'll do:
- Improve the Real-Time API tech stack by improving and monitoring Webhook delivery rate, improving memory usage, and improving scheduling for paid customers
- Proactively plan and work on ways to improve the dev-experience of our customers
- Apply best design patterns in order to make the codebase readable, maintainable, and testable
- Refactor, optimize and enhance the codebase where needed proactively
- Test implementations thoroughly
- Write and maintain unit tests
- Integrate and improve CI
- Write flexible and modular code to make sure that the codebase is easy to scale
- Be a valued member of an autonomous, high-performance agile team
About you & Key Qualifications 🙋♂️🙋♀️
- You are passionate about and live up to engineering practices like clean code, continuous delivery, observability, and reliability
- You master Node.js and consider yourself to be an expert
- You enjoy working in TypeScript and know the best practices
- You are experienced and can work in Docker and Redis
