The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented and experienced Content Writer who understands the software developer persona and can create compelling, SEO-optimized content. This role involves crafting thought leadership articles, product guides, analysis, how to articles and listicles that will drive traffic and engagement on the Zencoder website.
Currently, this is a contract position with the potential to become permanent. We also welcome applicants interested in part-time arrangements. This offers a unique opportunity to prove your skills, work flexibly, and potentially grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality content that speaks directly to software developers, addressing their needs, challenges, and interests.
- Produce a variety of content types, including thought leadership articles, comparisons, and listicles.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase organic traffic.
- Collaborate with the internal development team to ensure content aligns with Zencoder’s overall strategy and goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant insights into content creation.
- Use gen AI tools efficiently to tailor content and able to generate content at scale.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a content writer, particularly within the tech or software development industry.
- Strong understanding of the software developer persona and the ability to write engaging, relevant content.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
