What we are looking for!
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment shipping consumer-facing products.
- Skills: Proficiency in design, design system maintenance, and prototyping in Figma
- Agility: Ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Detail-oriented: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering visually perfect designs.
- User-Centered: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your design process, high-fidelity mockups, and final products.
- Design & Prototyping: Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate quickly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the final product meets both user needs and business objectives.
- Visual Design: Ensure that all designs are polished, visually appealing, and align with our brand standards.
- Problem-Solving: Address design challenges creatively and efficiently, balancing the need for visual perfection with the demands of a fast-paced development cycle.
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with motion design and micro-interactions.
- Background in conducting user research and usability testing.
We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week (preferably during business hours in EST) at an hourly rate dependent on experience between 65-75/hour.
