Position Summary:
The Salesforce SFCC Commerce Developer is an integral part of the DEPT® Commerce team. This is an ongoing contract/freelance need. This position’s key responsibility is to work alongside business analysts, project managers, and technical and solutions architects to deliver quality engagements on behalf of DEPT® Commerce clients. The developer will contribute to aspects of the analysis, design, and enhancements of DEPT® Commerce clients’ platforms using lightning components. This role will be deployed on DEPT® Commerce projects with B2C customers, as well as potentially lending a hand with Headless commerce engagements.
Key Skills:
- 2-4 years of SFCC Programming experience, ideally full stack, with focus on strong front and back end coding
- Experience with SFRA development within Commerce Engagements
- Experience with configurations with Third Party APIs
- Exposure to multiple simultaneous projects
- Exposure to headless concepts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Execution of declarative and programmatic SFRA.
- Development of applications using SFRA
- Design, development, testing, and deployment of programmatic solutions that are maintainable and reusable.
- Participation in the full application lifecycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Communication of project progress via required methods in Jira and time tracking system (Productive.)
- Working with the Technical Architect in developing and maintaining the core Client Group Systems architecture, ensuring all development work conforms to expectations with our B2C Commerce engagements.
- Providing technical expertise on SFRA architecture and in DEPT® Commerce client engagements.
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $45-$85 hourly. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
