Why this role is important:
As a Junior Software Test Specialist, you are passionate about software testing and quality. In this role you will work closely with the quality and release team to detect regressions in existing features and thoroughly test new features to ensure quality throughout the application as it continues to grow and change.
The primary functions of the role will be writing and executing test cases for new features, writing detailed bug reports and reproduction steps, maintaining existing test cases as previously released features change, verifying bug fixes, and ensuring previously logged and unresolved defects are still valid and require remediation. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to our automated test development depending on your interest and availability after primary duties are completed.
\n- Collaborate: work closely and collaboratively with the QA and Development teams throughout the Development organization to drive forward objectives
- Deliver: test management and test reporting throughout the software development lifecycle using Xray and Jira
- 1-3 years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience
- Experience writing and executing test cases, possibly working within a Test Case Management Framework such as Xray
- A passion for thoroughly testing and exploring software with the goal of improving user experience as much as possible
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a self starter attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
