Technical Assistant

We're seeking a talented Technical Assistant to serve as an insurance professional, concerned with high-level customer service and productivity. Your Impact: Data entry, including maintaining accurate client account information in our system. Work with agents to complete surplus lines filings for non-admitted business. Obtain account information updates as needed. Update system database as information is received. Handling monthly compliance reports for surplus lines. Maintaining with Compliance Dept., licensing records and requirements for agents and insurance carriers. Respond to routine inquiries, refer complex circumstances to appropriate team member. Assemble policies when required Successful Candidates Will Have: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of P&C insurance industry experience required Proficiency with Adobe and MS Excel Demonstrated aptitude for computer-based work and time management; ability to achieve skills in agency systems. Ability to anticipate and solve problems creatively and effectively communicate key information. Ability to develop proactive working relationships with both internal and external customers. Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $22.00 - $32.00 per hour + bonus.
