The team:

The Partnerships team works with businesses from industry-leading tech companies to freelancers to bring new users to Jobber or build product experiences for our mutual users. We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners as well as managing smaller program partners. 

The role: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partner Operations, the Partner Development Analyst will contribute to revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within our partner ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for developing your own strategy to help the Partner Managers build their pipeline. This will be an internal facing role to enable the Partner Managers to have the right contacts within an organization. Both the short-term and long-term success of this team hinges on the ability to ensure we’re reaching out and connecting with the right people at the right organizations – this role is pivotal to the continued success of the entire team. This team is known for being resourceful, trying new things, building and maintaining long-term relationships, and thriving in ambiguity.

The Partner Development Analyst will:

  • Identify net-new partner opportunities within target verticals and addressable partner market
  • Perform data analysis to drive partner pipeline strategy to help build a pipeline of targeted prospects for our Business Development team
  • Gain strong understanding of competitive partner programs
  • Analyze partnerships data to identify Ideal Partner Profiles (IPP), opportunities, trends and partner segments
  • Work closely with RevOps and central analytics team to ensure the data quality for all partner accounts is accurate
  • Maintain data hygiene within Salesforce for all partner accounts, and ensure that applicable naming conventions, processes and policies are adhered to for high data quality and attribution
  • Respond to inquiries by understanding business needs, gather relevant data/ information and provide the required analysis 
  • Understand and interpret the outputs from analysis to draw insights and recommend improvements

To be successful, you must have:

  • Efficiently use technologies such as Salesforce, SQL, Web Analytics, Hubspot, Tableau, LinkedIn and other sources for general research, analytics and prospecting
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in business data analytics with a demonstrated track record of successfully supporting the business through data 
  • Proficiency in wrangling and transforming data
  • Resourceful – you’re comfortable thinking outside of the lines to get the right information you need to access the right people 
  • Proven experience analyzing data from a variety of different sources (quantitative and qualitative), presenting the data in a clear and concise manner, and create actionable insights
  • Ability to operate in a transforming, fast-paced, complex, high-visibility environment with multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong information-seeking skills and drive to make things happen
  • Team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward ambitious goals
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
