A quick run-down of the job
We are looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our team responsible for our smart contract operations across more than 30 EVM networks and Solana, ensuring their security, efficiency and seamless integration.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to expand our extensive smart contract codebase and maintain a wide range of production contracts. Your curiosity, combined with deep technical expertise, will enable us to swiftly and efficiently adopt new technologies while ensuring that our smart contract architecture remains cutting-edge. Your proactive problem-solving approach will be key in advancing our smart contract initiatives. You will be reporting directly to the Smart Contract Lead.

What you’ll do
- Contribute to development, deployment and configuration of our 500+ production smart contracts across 30+ EVM networks, ensuring security and optimal (gas) performance
- Support the expansion into new, non-EVM ecosystems
- Apply industry best practices and collaborate with external auditors to perform regular code audits, maintaining the highest security standards
- Continuously review and enhance smart contract architecture to align with business needs, security requirements, and performance goals
- Drive innovation and thought leadership by researching and integrating emerging technologies and by attending relevant industry conferences
- Create scripts and tools to improve task execution efficiency and security
- Collaborate closely with leadership to shape our cross-chain infrastructure strategy and contribute to our overall technical vision
What makes a good candidate

- 6+ years of solid software development experience with a focus on Solidity.
- Proficiency in YUL/Assembly and experience deploying smart contracts across multiple EVM networks.
- Solid experience in TypeScript (at least 3 years).
- 2 years of experience with at least one, but preferably more non-EVM smart contract ecosystems (e.g. Cosmos, Aptos, TON).
- Meticulous and quality-driven, you ensure high-quality outputs in all aspects of your work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within a cross-cultural team and with external stakeholders.
- Experience working with/for a major DeFi protocol, especially a bridge or cross-chain protocol is a plus.
- Expertise in intent protocols and/or a strong track record of implementing zkProof technologies in practical applications are a plus.
- Contributions to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) or other blockchain initiatives are a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
